The thrill of catching dinner

Perhaps a Lake Weyba mud crab or one of the many species of fish – bream, estuary cod, summer whiting and more. (No licence necessary.) Bait, crab pots, rod and tackle available from reception, or bring your own and don’t forget a lantern for some night fishing from your beach or canoe.

Flora and Fauna

45 acres of Eumarella Shores has been assessed and declared by the Queensland Government as a “Nature Refuge” which will protect the valued and endangered flora and fauna for future generations, making Eumarella Shores unique and rare as a private and voluntary Nature Refuge.

Learn about bush tucker, local flora species, local Indigenous and European history, on the interpretative signed bush trail on the 45 acres of nature refuge. Complimentary self guided brochure provided. Observe and identify the abundant bird life and wild life in the area.

Celebrate Spring

Spring brings on a spectacular show of wildflowers of the coastal heathlands.

Herbs and shrubs blanket the landscape beautifully with their tapestry of blooms – a kaleidoscope of colour with pinks, yellows, whites and blues intermingling with vivid patches of red and yellow. Late August annually.

Our bushwalking trail bursts into colour as well the wildflower plains in the local area.

Market Day

The iconic markets at Eumundi on Saturdays and Wednesdays, or for fresh local farm gate produce the Noosa Farmer’s Market each Sunday.

On the sunset cruise, enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the sun set behind the magnificent mountains of the Noosa Coastal Hinterland.
